This Tue., Feb. 5 at the Temple Theatre in Sanford at 7pm, a jazz concert
featuring three of the Nashville, Tenn. musicians from the current Temple
Theatre production, "Swinging Cowboys," team up with Chris Gelb, Court
Stewart and Gregg Gelb for a swinging jazz concert.
The show features the excellent vocalist Carolyn Martin and her bass playing
husband Dave Martin, plus the amazing Rory Hoffman on guitar, piano, and
accordion. Blind from birth, Rory can play 14 instruments and his
ability to improvise licks of lightning speed while invoking the mastery of
players like Charlie Christian and Art Tatum is simply outstanding.
$15 admission.
